The Judy Center Early Learning Hub values community outreach as it is a way to connect with families in the community. Above is a partnered event with the Eastport-Annapolis Neck library where the Judy Center and the library taught parents/guardians about the importance of literacy.
Every Thursday at 10am to 11am at Georgetown East Elementary the Judy Center Early Learning Hub has a parent education event called "Parent Cafe". The topics of these events differ week to week. Above, parents/guardians were taught how to make their own gardens at home. Another time, parents/guardians learned about the importance of dental health for their children. Parent Cafe is a bilingual event that is aimed to help parents and guardians become the best verisons of themselves.
The Judy Center Early Learning Hub has bi-monthly pop-ups. These pop-ups are made possible from community members and partners. Shown above is a picture from the most recent pop-up. The Judy Center Early Learning Hub was able to give out toys for all ages, baby clothes, clothing of all sizes, and small household items. If you are interested in coming to a pop-up, please look at the Judy Center Early Learning Hub's Google Calendar in the "Events" tab.
