APEX
Apex is an AACPS magnet program offered starting in middle school. This year's 5th graders should consider this program if they want extra music classes in middle school.
If you choose to apply, make sure you let Mr. Ferenz know so he can help you with the application and audition process!

The Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra offers additional performances and opportunities for students. With renouned directors, this opportunity privdes a high quality experience locally. Auditions take place in the late spring, but new students are always welcome.

Private Lessons
Private Lessons are an excellent way for students to further develop their skills on their instrument. These are great for developing a competitive edge, building confidence, exploring interest, or just learning for the sake of learning. Music & Arts provides isntructors through their lessons program.

AACPS Summer Music Camp @ NorthBay
Audition Information for the AACPS Music Camp at NorthBay is available at the links below! This music camp is a sleepover camp that will be held at NorthBay Adventure Camp in Cecil County, MD. Students currently in 5th -11th grades who are enrolled in a Band, Orchestra or Chorus class can submit a virtual audition to be considered for selection to camp. Generally, current 5th-7th grade students are recommended to audition for the Intermediate level of each ensemble, and current 8th-11th grade students are recommended to audition for the Advanced level of each ensemble.
