September 17th: Hiking @ Patapsco State Park

Open to 40 students.

Spend the day exploring the Avalon area of Patapsco Valley State Park. A 4.6 mile hike along the Morning Choice, Cascade Falls, and Ridge trails will loop us through the forest, across creeks, and to a waterfall. It will also allow us to visit the Swinging Bridge and spend some time on the shores of the Patapsco River.  Students must wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the days adventures, and bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. 

8:30 Report to the Cafeteria for check-in

8:45 Depart BHS by bus

9:45 Arrive at Patapsco State Park

10:00-12:30 Hike

12:30-1:00 Lunch @ Swinging Bridge

1:00-2:00 Explore River-side

2:00 Depart Patapsco

3:00 Arrive at BHS
