Service Academics
United States Service Academies requires applicants:
Be at least 17 years old but not have passed your 23rd birthday as of July 1st of the year of acceptance
Be a U.S. citizen on the day of admission
Be unmarried, not pregnant, and have no obligation to support children or other dependents
Be in good health and physical condition (the academics requires physical before acceptance)
If you are considering applying to a service academy, please be sure to see your School Counselor to discuss the application process and timeline. For academy specific questions, please use the contacts listed below.

Service Academy Nominations
In addition to regular college admissions requirements and items listed above, candidates for U.S. Service academies must receive a congressional letter of recommendation (nomination). Nomination options for Annapolis High School students are listed below.
IMPORTANT: Please find your representative using your home address. Most AHS students' U.S. Representative will be Sarah K. Elfreth (District 3) but it will differ if you live outside of District 3. It is the student's responsibility to confirm.
