Continuum of Services

Service Options:

  • Direct therapy refers to those intervention activities that are individually designed and are carried out by the therapist and one child or a group of students.

  • Consultation differs from direct therapy in that the therapist consults with another person to address issues and outcomes identified by that person. This model is most appropriate when there is little or no need for direct interaction between the student. The therapist is working closely with teachers in order to facilitate the the student's success in an educational environment.
