Air pollution painting summary
Charles de Gaulle, President of France, WWIII
We are the air pollution crew from 5B. Who is Charles de Gaulle ? Charles de Gaulle was the president of France during World War II. He also started “Free France” which was a program to help free France from Nazis after World War 2.
Our painting shows that art can be formed and presented in different ways. Such as, in the background we decided to add clouds and beautiful green grass because we wanted to depict a natural setting in which air pollution does not exist. Also, we decided to put Charles De Gaulle as a collage and we used blue for the sky, White for the tints & clouds, Black for the shades, and green for the grass.
What the quote means we can stop air pollution even if people say it’s impossible. You may notice that We chose these colors blue and different shades of green in the grass and sky because it adds depth, and that starry - night feel. The message we put in was that back then, everything was clean. But now it isn’t.
