UB Summer Program

Students in the Upward Bound program are required to participate in a six-week summer program which focuses on team building, leadership skills, STEM projects, and college and career planning.

Rising sophomores will work with Mr. Jones and Ms. Marzka and complete science and math related projects. 

Rising juniors and seniors work with other summer staff to prepare for the SAT and ACT, as well as their post-secondary education.

Students who complete the summer program successfully, will earn 0.5 credits on their high school transcript.

ANY rising junior at WMHS will also have the opportunity to apply for the UBMS Wisconsin-Green Bay Upward Bound summer program. They need not be a member of the WMHS Upward Bound Program to apply.

This six-week summer program would be in replace of the WMHS summer program as students would travel to the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and take classes and live on campus. Applications will be available in the Upward Bound office for those who are interested.
