BAMS/BUHS/WRCC School Nurses are working towards developing a School Based Health Center. Our goal is to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare services directly to students, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to thrive academically and physically. By integrating health services within the school environment, we aim to reduce barriers to care, promote early intervention, and address the diverse health needs of our student population. These visits allow for the monitoring of growth and development, the administration of necessary immunizations, and the early detection of potential health issues.
Dr. Elizabeth Richards is the Medical Director for the WSESU Schools.
