The Region 5 Executive Committee is comprised of two regional managers, two alternate regional managers, a secretary/facilitator, a treasurer and committee representatives. 

Region 5 committee representation is comprised of two Representatives and two Alternates for each of the State WorkAbility I Committees listed below. To learn more about WorkAbility I Committees, please see the WorkAbility I Handbook Committee page. 

• Business, Education, Labor (BEL) - Promotes and recognizes partnerships between business, education and the labor force for WorkAbility I programs at the local, regional, and state levels.

• Family Transition Network (FTN) - Provides transition information, training, and resources to parents, students, and families to assist the student through the process of transition to quality adult life.

• Government Relations Committee (GRC) - Researches, correlates, and disseminates information related to legislative process and policy formation at the federal, state, and local levels as it relates to the WorkAbility I program.

• Human Support Services (HSS) - Researches and disseminates information regarding inter-agency support for key stakeholders in the WorkAbility I program at the state, regional, and local levels.

• Mentor - Provides/facilitates mentor trainings within local region. Offer support, collaborate with regional teams, assist in the special conditions process, and provide responses to frequently asked questions.

• State and Regional Trainings (SRT) - Facilitates quality professional development and training opportunities to all key stakeholders of the WorkAbility I program.

• Technology, Education, Communication (TEC) - Provides technical support to key stakeholders related to the statewide WorkAbility I data collection system. The committee will also research and review website content to assist CDE with WorkAbility I web site updates.

• Wage, Labor and Safety (WLS) - Provides information, resources, training, and support to key stakeholders regarding wage, labor and safety.
