As a family, we will:

· require regular school attendance;

· encourage high standards of achievement and positive behavior;

· send my child to school prepared to learn, equipped with healthy food, and dressed in appropriate clothing;

· set aside enough time each night to be available to assist with homework to ensure completeness and accuracy;

· spend time each day talking and reading to and with my child;

· review school information and sign and return all papers that require parent or guardian signatures;

· attend school functions, conferences, and parent group meetings;

· participate in volunteer opportunities;

· maintain contact with my child’s teacher.
