Classroom and School Expectations

1. Show respect for self, others, and property.

2. Show safety for self and others by keeping hands, feet, and objects to self.

3. Be responsible for your learning and behavior.

WES is a Bully Free Zone

Our staff and students have developed the following Peace Pledge:

I promise

· Not to bully

· To help others who are being bullied

· To tell an adult if I am being bullied

· To include others who are left out of activities

Classroom Rules

Each teacher develops criteria for appropriate behaviors with his/her students.

Should there be continued or severe violation of the school/classroom rules or disruption to learning, administration is involved. An administrator will investigate the concerns and develop an appropriate plan and/or consequence.

Please Note:

Although our teachers and staff do their best to be fair, occasionally parents feel they have a problem with a decision or situation in the classroom. We ask that the following steps be taken should a problem arise.

· First, try to resolve the issue with the classroom teacher.

· If you feel you need to pursue the issue further, please contact the principal or assistant principal to set up an appointment to discuss the problem.
