Justin Aube Department Coordinator
Mr. Aube has been teaching Social Studies at BFUHS since 2004. He graduated from Keene State College with a B.A. in Social Science, with his primary specialization in History and a secondary specialization in Geography. He also has his Master's Degree from American Public University in in Global History. Mr. Aube's roots are tied to the Great North Woods of Berlin, New Hampshire. At school, he is the Social Studies Coordinator, Student Council advisor, and Freshman Academy advisor. Mr. Aube was also the head coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball team for 9 years at BFUHS. He is also the 2006 and 2008-2010 BFUHS Chili Cook-Off Champ. Mr. Aube is also a member of Collegeboard's Leadership team for the AP World History Curriculum. Outside of school, he spends his time grilling, camping, watching New England sports, and spending time with his two kids.

Before joining the BFUHS community in August 2013, Mrs. Fredricks spent eight years teaching Social Studies at a large high school in Dutchess County, New York. She also taught for five summers at Upward Bound at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mrs. Fredricks earned her B.S. in Adolescent Education from SUNY Oneonta and her M.S. in Literacy from Mercy College. She loves sharing her love for Social Studies with her students. Outside of school, Mrs. Fredricks enjoys reading books, taking walks/hiking with her husband and dogs and she loves going to the beach.

Matt Willis was born and raised in Springfield, VT. He graduated from Siena College in 1997, receiving a degree in American Studies. He then gained his teaching certificate from the Upper Valley Teacher Institute and has been teaching history at Bellows Falls Union High School since 2000. In his free time, Matt enjoys watching sports.

Donald "DJ" Golden-Coup
Donald “DJ” Golden-Coup has a Bachelor’s of the Arts in History from the University of Central Florida. He is currently working on his Masters in Education from the Upper Valley Educators Institute. Mr. Coup grew up in Florida. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Coup moved to Massachusetts to work in outdoor education as a teacher for 3 years at Nature’s Classroom. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he decided that was the time to move to Vermont to work in schools as a building sub until he got his teaching license in 2022. He has been a part of the BFUHS family since the Fall of 2023. History has always been a passion of Mr. Coup due to a belief that there are things that happen in real life that would be unbelievable as fiction, making it much more fascinating. Outside of teaching he is running the BFUHS gaming club and is the class of 2028 head advisor. Outside of BFUHS Mr. Coup spends his free time visiting new places, nature walks with his family, and playing Rugby.
