Survival Models and Course Wrap-Up

We will start the day with you presenting your Datacamp style problems, see the Course Assessment section.

We will then do a quick review of relevant sections in Chapter 4 of Loss Data Analytics.

Next, we will look at the survival model Chapter 14 of my regression textbook, Regression Modeling with Actuarial and Financial Applications.

A large portion of the day will be spent on the survival model chapter from the series, Predictive Modeling Applications in Actuarial Science.The seminar also draws on resources from the series, Predictive Modeling Applications in Actuarial Science.

As part of the Course Wrap-Up, you will have an opportunity to ask general questions about the material covered this week.
