Lesley University's College of Art & Design visited Windsor High School this week from Boston to present on their comprehensive career directed programs and review WHS student portfolios for admission. WHS has had a number of its Art Department Alumni study in their Fine Arts Department for Photography, Animation and Graphic & Interactive Design who are now working in various creative fields. At this visit, WHS Senior Hannah Birch’s portfolio was accepted on the spot by their Associate Director of Admissions for their Fine Arts Department. In addition to her portfolio being accepted, she was offered a significant scholarship to their school due to her portfolio’s merit. Congratulations to Hannah and all the seniors whose work impressed our guest. He noted that all our WHS Art students showed both an impressive level of technical skill and the development of their own artistic voice to show critical thought.
