COVID-19 Proposed Protocols
These protocols were put together in collaboration with Worldstrides, Winchester Department of Health and Principal James Lin.
All adults and students are required to wear masks during the trip except when they are outdoors or in their hotel rooms.
All students will be asked to take PCR tests and receive negative results 3-5 days prior to departure.
The school will make every effort to coordinate with the Winchester Health Department to administer the PCR tests for chaperones and trip participants at McCall prior to departure.
In the event that a student tests positive and thus cannot travel, the family will receive a full refund minus $129 (i.e, $99 nonrefundable deposit and $30 full refund program fee).
In the event that a student needs to quarantine while on the trip, WorldStrides will pay for a hotel room for the student to serve as a quarantine space. WorldStrides will also pay the transportation expenses needed for the student’s caregivers to travel to the hotel to be with the student throughout the quarantine period.
In the event that a chaperone needs to quarantine while on the trip, World Strides will pay for a hotel room to serve as a quarantine space.
All trip participants will have access to WorldStrides’s Doctors on Call program which provides them with access to in-hotel emergency care 24 hours a day.
