I am married to a wonderful husband, Philip. We have three children. The oldest Keegan is 10, then Gibson is 7, and our newest addition Ava Grace is 3. My husband and I were born and raised in Mt. Juliet, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 2000. I went to college at Tennessee Technological University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I originally used this degree to work as an insurance underwriter in hopes of becoming an actuary. However, it didn't last long. I only worked at the insurance company for about two years. I didn't like it at all and knew I needed to follow my dreams of becoming a teacher. So, I went back to school at Trevecca Nazarene University where I earned a Master's in Teaching. I have been teaching at Mt. Juliet High School ever since. This is my tenth year, and I love it!
