I grew up in Glenview, Illinois and attended college at Northern Illinois University. I received my bachelors in Physical Education with a Minor in Health Education, as well as an Adaptive P.E. certification. After college I worked as a Paraprofessional at Central before becoming a Physical Education teacher at Highcrest. I taught 6 years at Highcrest while also coaching Basketball and Track & Field at Wilmette Junior High. I received my Masters in curriculum and instruction in 2021. I have now been at Central school for 3 years and am starting my 4th year this year! I used to enjoy playing football, basketball and 16 inch softball. Currently I am focusing on getting better at Golf and I recently got Yoga teacher certified with my SEL endorsement. I enjoy traveling to new places, preferably at a beach or the mountains. I do also enjoy a good video game from time to time. I am looking forward to an awesome year!n :)
