Motor Activities

Motor activities are important for fitness and FUN!

  • Spray bottles: fill an empty spray bottle with water. Take it outside, and let your child spray plants, the sidewalks, other objects with the water.
  • String beads, cheerios, fruit loops, etc. Make a bird feeder with cheerios on a string. Hang on a tree in the yard and watch the birds from the window
  • Go to the park or Central School's playground.
  • Water painting on the sidewalk/driveway: Use paint brushes for this fun, warm weather activity.
  • Ride trikes or bikes; draw a big chalk line on the sidewalk or driveway and ride on/across/left /right/next to/away from the line.
  • Play catch or reciprocal throwing game using balls, beanbags, or koosh balls.
