My name is Teresa Joyal. This is my sixth year teaching science at Willow River. I teach 7th grade Life Science, 10th grade biology, 11/12 Physics and 11/12 College Biology. I am also the advisor for science club, one of the advisors for student council and one of the 7th grade class advisors. Prior to becoming a science teacher, I was involved in both plant biology and cancer research. Most of my graduate school research involved studying how the immune system and lung cancer cells interact. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, photography, cake decorating, playing bass clarinet in a community band, and spending time with friends and family.
