The Rural Policy Plan is intended to be a framing of rural issues in Massachusetts that guides the work of the Rural Policy Advisory Commission and is a reference for legislators, administration and state agencies to enhance the economic vitality of rural communities. Divided into distinct focus areas, the plan is intended to be a succinct presentation of the issues and characteristics of rural areas in Massachusetts with a summary of prioritized action steps to foster policies and programs that aid rural areas.
We are asking for your participation in the Transportation Stakeholder Meeting to assist in the development of transportation goals, identify key issues and make recommendations on the most important transportation policy, program or investment strategies that would improve conditions in rural areas.
