BUILDING

The Building Department has issued several more temporary CO's for Cable Mills units. We hope to issue a full final certificate for the development this summer.

HEALTH

The Board of Health will be holding public hearings on June 6 to amend the septic system regulations (allowing more flexibility in time frame for re-inspection in unoccupied dwellings), and Smoking and tobacco products (establishing a retail vendor permit and capping the number of permits at five). Jeff Kennedy has been performing septic system installation inspections and witnessing Title 5 septic system inspections and witnessing soil evaluations.

Jeff Kennedy has been evaluating vendors and issuing permits for retail food processors at Farmers' Markets.

Jeff Kennedy has been inspecting food establishments and rental dwelling units.

LAND USE

The Zoning Board meets on the 19th to renew a permit for Chopsticks to expand their kitchen.

Planning Board will host staff from Mass Housing Partnership on the 25th to begin discussions around multi family housing zoning changes.
