Our speech-language pathologists provide clinical/educational services, prevention, education, and research. The inability to communicate directly affects children’s ability to learn, develop and maintain social relations. The primary goal of intervention is to become independent and to function effectively in society. Speech and language therapy focuses on the development of functional communication. Our goal is to increase communication skills for children, including the multicultural and bilingual population, with language delays, hearing loss, and difficulty producing speech sounds.
