Exploration of Crafts II is a half year skills based class.  Students will further develop hand building skills utilized in the creation of various traditional crafts, which were studied in the prerequisite course.  We will explore the history and origins of various crafts and the role of the artisan/ craftsperson in contemporary society.  Students will consider the notions of consumerism, quality, and the impact they have on society.
