The YA Advance Program offers classes tailored to the interests of middle schoolers and soon-to-be high schoolers (incoming 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades) by encouraging them to investigate, explore and play in ways that develop new interests and aptitudes, deepen existing passions, grow self-confidence, and hone their skills as creative thinkers. All courses reinforce the thinking skills that form the foundation of Westwood's core curriculum - exploration, research, evaluation, and application - while also fostering creative thinking and FUN.
