Projects give students a hands on opportunity to research historical topics and to create a product that demonstrates their learning. For each unit, students are required to choose and create projects to show what they have learned. Students must agree to the ONE DOLLAR GUARANTEE for all projects which states that they agree to never spend more than ONE DOLLAR on any single project in this class this year.

A Bibliography is an alphabetized list of sources used when researching and/or creating a scholarly product such as an article, paper, or project. Students must turn in a bibliography for each Unit's projects. For example, even if a student does two projects for a Unit topic, they need to turn in ONLY ONE bibliography.
How to Cite Sources Using MLA Style
Citation Machine - an excellent site to help you create a citation for sources other than Wikipedia.
Plagiarism means "to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source" (from http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/plagiarize). Please do not plagiarize. If you need to quote from a source, you should put the text in quotation marks and then credit where it came from. For example, if I wrote that "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge" and I failed to mention that Albert Einstein actually wrote that and that I got this quote at http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/topics/topic_teacher.html#ALuMqQEPgiZosKCx.99, I would be dishonest and would be committing plagiarism. If I use and cite this quote properly, I am being honest.
When in doubt, summarize and restate in your own words!
