Below is a list of great websites and links. Students have logins for Reading Eggs, Math Seeds, and SeeSaw from our classroom. If your child doesn't have theirs, just let me know and I can send it home.
CKLA Information and Downloads
The Core Knowledge Language Arts program materials are all available online from the NYS Ed Dept. If you google "CKLA 1st grade skills Fables" you will be able to download the reader we are using currently and the student workbook. We were just finishing the unit, so you are welcome to do any of it as review, especially the Pausing Point pages in the back of the workbook labeled PP. Another option is going to the Amplify website which provides our CKLA program. There are instructions on how to access materials there. A copy of the letter has been emailed to all parents and I have a copy on our Google Classroom under announcements.
There is a link above to the East Hill Book Corner to listen to any of the readers being read aloud by teachers from our building. Once you follow the link to the book room, students click on the yellow box (we have yellow readers in 1st Grade). Once there, they can click on the reader they want to listen to. These do not have photos of the text.
