Accessing Materials
There is a daily homework slide show on the team's main webpage that can be used to help students and parents keep track of what they are working on. There is also an advisory task list, that keeps students updated on what they can be working during advisory, or if there are teachers they might need to see during advisory regarding their work. Students can also access this slideshow and the task list from their advisory Google classrooms.
More specific handouts, assignments, rubrics, links and daily reference materials for social studies will be provided directly to the students through their Google classroom. Any student who is absent should still be able to access a majority of their classwork through their Google classroom. (Even blank handouts distributed in class will be linked for printing at home in case they are lost or misplaced.)
Students will be expected to use a variety of online tools such as Google classroom, Edpuzzle, Peardeck, Gimkit, BrainPop, Kahoot, and Padlet to name a few, and they should always be logging into these applications using their school gmail profile.
If a student is absent, they need to check in with their teachers during advisory, check the website and/or Google classroom, and/or call a friend to find out what they missed.
