Many of Blanchard's most popular books are available as ebooks and audiobooks that you can download onto your own device!
SORA - Blanchard students have access to a large, curated collection of ebooks and downloadable audiobooks through the Commonwealth ebooks Collections. The platform is "Overdrive" but we use a special app for students: SORA.
SORA works in a web-browser, but if you are going to be using it on a phone or tablet you will have a better experience if you download the SORA app.
Note: SORA provides similar functionality to "Libby", but SORA enables access to the school collection of ebooks in addition to the public library collections and is more 'kid friendly'.
Blanchard ebooks from Follett - click here to see which of our ebooks are currently available. You will need to login with Google to access these.
Destiny Discover App - download this app onto your phone, tablet, nook, kindle or computer for the best user experience with Follett ebooks.

Download the SORA app for your phone or tablet from the Apple Store or Google Play
For Kindle: Borrow the book using an Internet browser, and then choose the option "Send to Device" and select your kindle
Click "Add a Public Library" (You will find this under your profile) to enable access to all the ebooks available at JV Fletcher and MVLC as well as the ones in the Commonwealth ebooks Collection .
Once you login, set your preferences:
Set audience to "juvenile" (elementary and middle school)
older students might add "young adult" (high school)
If you are browsing, choose the setting "available books"
If you are searching for a specific title, use the setting "everything"
Sorting by popularity will show you the most popular books first.
Searching by author will show you all the books (audio and ebooks) by a specific author
When you search for a specific book, you may need to remove one of the filters.
