The Middle School Concert groups are separated by grade. 6th Grade Beginning Band, 7th Grade Symphonic Band, and 8th Grade Wind Ensemble. Students prepare music for Concerts, Contests, and Solo and Ensemble Events.

February 7th, 2026 - ISSMA District Solo and Ensemble (Kokomo High School) (8th Grade students only)
February 28th, 2026 - ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble (North Central and Westfield HS) (Students that achieved a Gold Rating in Group 1)
March 17th, 2026 2:45-4:00PM - 7th/8th Grade Contest Prep Rehearsal
March 18th, 2026 7PM - Middle School Spring Concert
March 20th/21st, 2026 - ISSMA JME Organizational Contest
April 14-16th, 2026 5:30-8:30PM - Marching Band Try-Outs (Parent Meeting at 7:30 on April 16th, 2026)
May 13th, 2026 7PM - High School Finale Concert and Awards
