Late Work Policy

Per district policy during the pandemic:

"Students have two weeks from the date an assignment has been given to submit the assignment for grading. Parents of students in 3rd grade through 8th grade will see the code M50 for missing assignments in Parent Vue. For questions or individual situations please contact your child’s teacher."

Since most work is turned in on Friday for my class, all work for the week is graded on that day. Any student who turns in work after their class, the late work will not be graded until the 2 week deadline is passed. If students want work graded on time, it is important that they turn work in on time. Depending upon the number of students enrolled, I easily grade 2,000 assignments per week.

How can I help my child catch up on missing work?

  1. Go to ParentVue to view missing work (not Google Classroom)

If you don't have your username/password, please contact the school office.

Students can also access missing work using StudentVue.

  1. Students should always complete work that counts the largest percentage of their grade first.
