Dorchester was chosen to be the core neighborhood of focus. It is the historic heart of residential Boston. It is a neighborhood that clearly reflects the themes of the unit- city neighborhoods, treasured old buildings that become treasured new buildings with citizen action, and how neighborhoods change because of immigration and industry.
