Meet Your Teacher

Welcome to third grade! It is my pleasure to be your child's third grade teacher! Third grade is an exciting and busy year, filled with new experiences and learning. I am eager to learn about your child and create a positive learning experience.

For those of you who do not already know me, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lisa Rodger. This is my 15th year teaching. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Reading. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and CAGS in Education Administration. I hold MA teaching licenses in Elementary Education, Special Education, and English Language Learners (ELL).

I LOVE teaching and working with children! The excitement of learning something new or becoming more successful at a skill from practice and hard work is exhilarating. I also love the beach and everything that goes along with it! I enjoy reading, shopping, being active, and spending time with friends and family!

I am thrilled to have your child as part of our class. We are going to have a wonderful year! I look forward to working with each family to make your child's learning positive and enriching. There is nothing more important than family; and I consider your input an integral part of your child's school experience.
