Elementary Fitness Program 2022-23

Physical fitness has always been a huge component of the Bond Academy Physical Education Program. Students who are consistently active have a better chance to focus, and concentrate, in the classroom. Physical fitness is also beneficial for ones physical and mental health. Having a strong physical conditioning also contributes to our sports teams being able to compete to the best of their abilities. I also use fitness as a way to develop a students mental and spiritual strength. Through pushing yourself beyond your perceived limits people can grow in physical and mental strength. This has been a great benefit for many students who have pushed themselves in our program. Students will only be excused from fitness training with a doctor's note. During the 2022-23 school year, we will have 1 fitness week per month throughout the school year. These fitness weeks will include some of the exercises below:

- 15 Minute Run Challenge.

- Chin ups.

- BEEP Test.

- Sprints.

- 30 minute runs.

- Firemen carries, firemen drags, gorillas, bear crawls, crab walks, frog eaps.
