The "final exam" for this course is a project. Students will build a board game including all the instructions, pieces, board, art, box, and decoration. I have supplies in class and encourage students to recycle cardboard and the like from home. Nothing needs to be purchased for this project.
Should a student not meet proficiency on their PBM (defined as a 70% or better), they have the option of taking a teacher made multiple choice final exam.
