All 3rd and 4th grade students will be taking the CogAT. Students that are already identified as AG do not have to take the CogAT. Students that score above the 85th percentile will take the Iowa.

The CogAt testing will occur in November and the Iowa will occur in December. Any student that scores in the 95th percentile or higher on a CogAT subtest or Iowa will be referred for identification. Additional testing or a portfolio evaluation may be necessary in order to see if a student qualifies for AIG services. All students that make it to this point will be served either as an AIG student or through our Talent Development program.
