Rental Policies
By signing the equipment rental agreement you are assuming responsibility for the timely return and condition of all equipment checked out. If the equipment is not returned, only partially returned or returned in need of repair as a result of misuse, charges equal to the value of the equipment will be entered on your student account and/or a financial hold will be put on your student record.* Furthermore, your checkout privileges may be permanently revoked by the College.
All equipment and facilities provided for student use by WCC are to be used exclusively for educational purposes and may not be used in the production of "for profit" work of any kind.

Late Policies
In the event you return your equipment late, the Photo Lab adheres to a three-strike late return policy. Please understand this policy is not designed to be punitive, but to ensure equipment is available for all enrolled photography students on an equitable basis.
First Late Offense - You will receive a warning and your checkout card will be retained in the Photo Lab. Your card will be returned at the discretion of your instructor.
Second Late Offense - Your check out privileges will be restricted to the same day check out. Your card will be retained in the Photo Lab and returned at the discretion of the department chair.
Third Late Offense - Your check out privileges are revoked for the remainder of the semester. You may appeal this decision by making an appointment with the Dean of Business and Technology.
*Although you will sign a contract stating you are responsible for breakage or loss of your WCC equipment, we expect some normal wear and tear. If the equipment you have checked out is in need of repair, please call (734-973-3435) or email the photolab (photolab@wccnet.edu).
