We urge you to support the Walpole High School Athletic Program by:
Attending games both home and away
Lending positive support to our teams and coaches
Encouraging all players without regard to their role on the team
Helping other spectators and parents maintain an appropriate sportsmanlike attitude
Showing respect for the authority and decisions of the game officials
Respect and show courtesy to all we come into contact with both home and away
The WHS community should be reminded of our Fan Attendance Guidelines and of the regulations for entrance into our Turco Field and Track Facility. The following are some of the guidelines and regulations specific to the use of, and attendance at, all Turco Field events:
No balls, drinks, or bags should to enter Turco Field. All pocketbooks and handbags are subject to search at the discretion of the Walpole Staff and Walpole PD.
No WHS Student will be allowed to bring their backpack into the game for any reason. We will hold it in the field house until after the game
There is no tailgating allowed on WPS property, which includes the parking areas surrounding the field/tennis courts. Fans should not park any earlier than 1 hour before game time, and upon arrival, should enter the stadium.
Parents of Middle School and Elementary School students are expected to attend the games with their children and encouraged to sit with them during the games. Students should not be running around the facility unattended. All spectators should be in attendance to watch and enjoy the game.
Finally, students should not be waiting for rides at the end of the game. The lights will be turned off, and the staff will leave approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
At Walpole High School, We: Let the players play, let the coaches coach, let the officials officiate – and let the parents/guardians positively cheer for their child during the game.
