Garden Club – Join Us for a New Adventure!

We're excited to launch our brand-new Garden Club and invite students and families to help us grow something special from the ground up! This new program is an opportunity to embark on a hands-on adventure in gardening, sustainability, creativity, and environmental stewardship.

Together, we'll work toward creating a sustainable vision for campus beautification while learning how to plant, feed, water, and maintain a thriving garden. Students will explore sustainable gardening practices that work in the Pleasanton climate, discover the science and benefits of composting, and help pilot an elementary school composting program.

Along the way, we'll get creative with garden-themed arts and crafts, connect with nature, and build skills that will help our school community flourish for years to come. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just curious to dig in and learn, join us as we begin this exciting new adventure together!

Garden Club meets the first Wednesday of the month September - November and February - May.

Club de Jardinería – ¡Únete a una Nueva Aventura!

¡Nos emociona lanzar nuestro nuevo Club de Jardinería e invitar a los estudiantes y familias a ayudarnos a cultivar algo especial desde sus inicios! Este nuevo programa es una oportunidad para embarcarse en una aventura práctica de jardinería, sostenibilidad, creatividad y cuidado del medio ambiente.

Juntos, trabajaremos para crear una visión sostenible para el embellecimiento de nuestro plantel escolar mientras aprendemos a plantar, nutrir, regar y mantener un jardín próspero. Los estudiantes explorarán prácticas de jardinería sostenibles adaptadas al clima de Pleasanton, descubrirán la ciencia y los beneficios del compostaje, y participarán en el desarrollo de un programa piloto de compostaje en nuestra escuela primaria.

A lo largo del camino, también realizaremos actividades artísticas y manualidades con temática de jardinería, nos conectaremos con la naturaleza y desarrollaremos habilidades que ayudarán a nuestra comunidad escolar a florecer durante muchos años. Ya sea que tengas experiencia en jardinería o simplemente curiosidad por aprender y ensuciarte las manos, ¡te invitamos a unirte a esta emocionante nueva aventura!

El Club de Jardinería se reúne el primer miércoles de cada mes, de septiembre a noviembre y de febrero a mayo.
