"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."-Leo Buscaglia
I hold a B.S. from Cabrini University
I am certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education for Grades PreK-6. I hold a permanent Religion Certification from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
I have been teaching at Visitation since 1985. I taught Second Grade for five years. I moved to First Grade and stayed there for twenty five years! This will be my ninth year teaching Third Grade. I love Third Grade and I'm so excited for this school year! This is my 39th year of teaching! I enjoy working with young children and seeing the amazing strides they make as the year progresses. I attended Mother of Divine Providence Grade School, Archbishop Carroll High School and Cabrini University. Over the past 39 years I have taken numerous Graduate Level Courses at area colleges and professional workshops, classes, and seminars to keep my skills current.
I have been married for 37 years and have two wonderful daughters. Kimberly is 31 and is a 2016 graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She lives in Hoboken, NJ and works in Manhattan. She is a city girl. The complete opposite of her mom! She works in marketing for Criteo. Kimberly got married in November of 2024 in Philly, of course! Natalie is 26 and is a 2021 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. She works in Philadelphia as a Graphic Designer for Clear Channel Outdoor. She designs Billboards and also signage at airports, train and bus stations for companies up and down the East Coast. You may see her work on your travels! Both of my daughters went to Catholic School from PreK to 12th grade. They graduated from Mother of Divine Providence in King of Prussia and Villa Maria Academy in Malvern. I am a very strong believer in Catholic Education and I have seen its benefits firsthand!
I enjoy Villanova basketball, all of our Philly sports teams, reading, eating out, decorating, shopping, working with technology, long outdoor walks, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to new places and to the beach each summer.
