Tardy Policy

Being on time for school and each class is a valuable skill each student needs to master. Valuable teaching time is lost with disruptions from students entering the classroom late. Students will serve consequences after they have accumulated five (5) or more tardies. Detention for a tardy issue will be served either during the lunch hour or before or after school. Students who are assigned detention must serve it on the assigned day. Failure to do so may result in suspension.

For Mrs. Fuller's classes: the following 'Tardy Self-Analysis" form is required to be completed.

1st and 2nd tardy: Self-Analysis document and verbal reminders of timeliness.

3rd and 4th tardy: Self-Analysis document and 20 minutes detention. Detention to be served before school (7:30-7:50 A.M.) or after school (3:40-4:00 P.M.).

5th tardy: Self-Analysis document and Administrative Referral.

If a student does not comply with Self Analysis documents or does not serve detention he/she will be referred to the office for additional disciplinary action.

Any student tardy 15 minutes or longer will automatically be marked absent. A tardy Self-Analysis document will still be required to be completed.
