1. Complete a work study in an art-related career with a minimum of 4 hours time expectation. Write a standard 5 paragraph essay about three things you learned during your work study. Also complete a project associated with the career you have chosen to study. Make sure you provide the contact information (full name, title, phone number, email address) for the artist you have followed in your work study for reference.

2. Ask me about community service that will help the arts in your community. Complete community service, document your hours, and provide a reference. Present information about what you did during your community service to the class and encourage your peers to help out. If possible, schedule a time in which other students (and you) can complete more community service as a team. If you'd like to bypass talking to me about this, contact SandiJean Fuson about volunteering for the Drexel Foundation.

3. Create a lesson for a kid's art project-- you must have a goal(s) that meets state standards, an outline of the lesson, a materials list, and a means of assessing student work. Correspond with an elementary teacher and set up a time to visit their class and teach your lesson to the students. Make sure your lesson is age-appropriate and that the cooperating teacher has all of the materials necessary for teaching your lesson. Turn in your lesson plan to me, along with photos of student artwork, a reflection of how your lesson went, and a reference.
