JESSICA WU                                      jess.wu@utexas.edu

Jessica was born in Silver Spring, Maryland. She graduated with her BS in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Posse scholar in December 2018. While there, she worked on the site-selective functionalization of carbohydrates under the direction of Dr. Weiping Tang. After graduation, Jessica stayed in Wisconsin and worked as an analytical chemist at Pharmaceutical Product Development Inc. (PPD). In the fall of 2020, she joined the Krische group and is interested in both method development and total synthesis.
