About Mr. Jones

I have been the science teacher at Union Star going on 6 years.  I love science and how it integrates math, history, and social sciences. My goal has always been to help students reach their goals in life whether it is in science or elsewhere. I believe in challenging students to succeed now so when life outside of high school gets tough they will be able to problem solve, critically think, and ask the right questions.  I hold my students to high expectations and will always help them to the best of my abilities when they need help. Students in my classes must take ownership of their learning by being accountable and responsible when communicating with me, their assignments, and understanding and learning of science.
