AHS offers 13 different Career Pathways for students to explore future career options. Pathways are made up of Introductory, Technical, and Application level classes. Career Clusters are an area of general interest. These clusters lead to specific career pathways that help students investigate interests and skills required for future careers.
As students explore a pathway they have the opportunity to continue taking courses to expand their knowledge and potentially become a pathway completer. Completers must complete 3 full credits within the pathway, and take at least once course from each level. The benefit of completing a pathway is a targeted exploration of a future career option.
Beyond pathway completion students can become a CTE Scholar which is a Post Secondary Asset option that can count towards graduation requirements. More information on the CTE Scholar requirements and application can be found HERE.
