Remington Elementary School Paraprofessional


Remington Elementary School has an opening for a full time Preschool Paraprofessional beginning January 3, 2023. Benefits include 98% of single health plan paid by the district, eligibility for retention pay, and KPERS retirement participation. Paraprofessionals must have one of the following credentials:


1. A Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate or an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in early childhood education or a related field;

2. Have a high school diploma or a GED and completed 48 credit hours at an institution of higher education;

3. Associate’s degree (or higher);

4. Pass a State-approved assessment that determines an ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics; or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness.

Remington High School Special Education Paraprofessional

  • Remington High School has an opening for a Special Education Paraprofessional.

  • This is in a Resource Room environment where students are mentored and supported to be successful in an academic setting. Job duties include assisting students in organizational skills, note taking, and homework completion.

  • This position is a 10 month, 29-32 hours per week (School days from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm) and is eligible for paid training, sick leave/holiday pay, and KPERS retirement participation. Flexible days and schedules can be negotiated. Base pay commensurate with experience.
