My Philosophy in Teaching:
I see teaching as involving an integrated relationship between lecturer and
students. I believe that teachers have duties to their students as students also have some duties to their lecturer.
I believe that it is my responsibility as a teacher to provide students with the followings:
• An academic environment suitable for contemporary learning that make students show their interest for the lecture.
• Knowledge that will help them be successful in achieving their academic and goals.
• Materials, opportunities, and feedback that will help students learn, and help in becoming and remaining motivated to be successful both in their studies and in applying their knowledge to solve problems in their lives.
At the same time, I believe that students have also duties to their lecturer, to their colleagues , and to themselves. I believe that these duties support the lecturer in achieving his duties to students in the best way as a two way process. Thus, I believe that it is the students' responsibility to be supportive of the lecturer and other students through being:
• Tolerant of different points of view,
• Well prepared for class,
• Capable and willing to work hard to complete course activities,
• Willing to bring their life experiences into the class to enrich discussions, and have the ability to apply what they learn in class to solve the problems they face on their jobs and in their lives.
