Academic Activities

• • My Academic Activities Include:

    • • Teaching undergraduate students in architecture department. I teach the fourth stages two theoretical lectures that are (Theories of Architecture) and (Architecture Design and Theory).

      • Besides Undergraduate students, I teach Postgraduate (Higher Diploma) in architecture Department with (Theories of Architecture) course.

      • Right now I am the head of Quality assurance Committee in Engineering College. 

      • Participating Two International conferences with research papers, the first conference was in Baghdad in the May 17-18th - 2017 and the second conference in Sulaimani city in the December 15-16th 2018.

      • International Academic Participations:

1- On November 15th 2014 I participated in (Mevlana Exchange Program) in Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey which ended on November 21st 2014. The program was in Faculty of Architecture – Dicle University, I participated with a Seminar (Westernization of Local Architecture).

2- On December 15th 2014, I participated in (University Partnership Iraq-Germany) in Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus, Germany. The title of the program was (Dialogue in Architecture, Urban and Management for Curriculum Development). The program ended on December 21st 2014.

3- On May 17th 2015 I participated in (University Partnership Iraq-Germany) in Sulaimani University/ Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The title of the program was (From Urban Inventory to Action, Structures and Processes old town of Sulaimani). The program ended on December 21st 2014.

4- Participation with an original Article in the 7th Scientific Engineering and 1st International Conference on (Recent Trends in Engineering Sciences and Sustainability), held on 17-18 May 2017 in Baghdad University- College of Engineering.

5- Participation with an original Article in the 1st International Conference on (Towards a new Local Architecture Identity), held on 15-16 December 2018 in Sulaimani University- College of Engineering-Architecture Department.

6- Participation in many local and international workshops and panels in architecture field.

• • • • 7- Participation in the (8 th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON ARCHITECTURE ANDbDESIGN) in Turkey as (Keynote Speaker) in 26-27 / 11/2022.

8- Participation in the (12th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN) in Turkey as (Keynote Speaker) in 23-24-25 /Dec. 2023.

9- Participation in the (13th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN) in Turkey as (Keynote Speaker) in 08-09 /June/2024.

10- Participation in (7the International Symposium On Strengthening Historical Buildings and Transferring Them Safely to Future) in 27- 28/9/2024 in Turkey- Diyarbakir. I participated with a Research presentation.
