 Outline Biography:

  Dr. Tola Ahmed Mirza: I am Professor in University of Sulaimani, College of Science, Earth Sciences and Petroleum Department. I complete BSc. in Geology 1988, MSc. In industrial Rocks and Minerals 1997, and Ph.D in Ore Geology 2008. I have 43 active researches in specialty ore geology and industrial rocks and minerals especially about the metallic ore deposits (Chromites, Platinum Group element, Native ore, sulfide and oxide Metal deposits ) as well as the non metallic ore deposits (Clay minerals in ceramic industry and carbonate rocks for cement industry). I am an active Associate Editor of the IJAIS (International journal of applied industrial Science) journal and Associated board  for   Probe - Geology and Mining Research. I have  a long experience in reviewing the scientific articles. I am a regular reviewer of IJAIS, 2012, Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani and Iraqi Bulletin of Geology and Mining, Iraqi geological journal, Arabian Journal of Geoscience, Earth and Environmental Science Journal, Carbonate and Evaporite Journal, Geochemical Transactions Journal. I have supervised nine MSc students  in the field of Ore geology,  Industrial Rocks and Minerals, and 4 PhD students (Ore Geology and volcanic igneous rocks), one PhD student in Ceramic. I participate in translating and scientific review of the book Science for All (Class nine Primary School, 2009). I was a member of Scientific Committee of the Geology department science, 2010 to 2013 and member of Scientific Committee of the College of Science since 2014.
