Position: I am currently a an assistant professor at the University of Sulaimani/ Iraqi Kurdistan Region. I work in Soil and Water Sciences Department/ Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

Field of study: My professional interest is Environmental Science.

Dissertation Title: Valuation of ambient air pollution: A study of some urban areas in Sulaimani City and its Surrounding/ Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Research Interests: My main interest remains in the field of environmental science and pollution and also to investigate how to protect the environment.

Administration and Committee Memberships: From May 2005 until October 2008, Head of Soil and Water Sciences Dept. / Faculty of Agricultural Sciences/ University of Sulaimani. Furthermore, chairman or member in numerous standing and special committees during my service period.

Industrial Experience: From September 2000 to December 2004, working at Merck KGaA Company of Chemical Production/ Darmstadt, Germany.

Other Activities: Attending in many workshops and participating in numerous different mass Medias, such as a TV and Radio programs regarding the environmental issues.
