Research Interests

My research focuses on the investigation of cause-effect relationships in different fields of environmental pollution. I am particularly interested in evaluating how different kinds of “pollution” natural and anthropogenic pollutants influence our health, our well-being, our behavior, and how individuals try to cope with these demands in the sense of reducing stress by applying different coping strategies.

 I was one of the first to study the air quality at Sulaimani city. I   concluded that air pollution should thus be considered as one of the environmental stress.

 Furthermore, I was a member in the participation of an important research project about NASA's education. George Mason University Research Team carried out the survey project under the supervision of Professor Ed  Maibach at George Mason University, who was conducting this research.
